I love using lines with a computer in vector graphics.

It’s a way of showing energy and movement.

An algorithm could have been used to automatically create the lines.

By drawing them individually, one has more control, as each one becomes an individual object.

Since each line is a separate entity, I can control the thickness, texture, color, and curvature for each line.

Tackling a project like Organic Forms #8 requires lots of patience.

Designing the lines to echo the form, and putting it together, was similar to a jig-saw puzzle.

I had to modify sections until they all blended together.

Each day I practice a 10 minute Tai Chi exercise.

It helps me relax, focus, and control my balance.

When I’m done, I always feel one with the world - similar to this work.

This was printed with pigment ink on Hahnemühle German Etching paper, made from cellulose fibers, made with archival standards.

Pigment ink combined with Hahnemühle paper will last for over 100 years with UV protection.

Price includes a simple frame and Acrylic for UV protection and reduced glare.
