Astroscape #2
part of the Astroscape series
Painted completely within Inkscape - December, 2023
Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching 100% cellulose paper with archival standards.
New images from the Hubble and James Webb Telescopes of galaxies show mind boggling complexity.
This is not a representation of any galaxy, but an abstraction that was inspired by several.
Hahnemühle’s paper gave the art more depth and allowed us to create deep rich colors.
The paper needed to be very thick in order to fully absorb all the ink.
A monoprint was created: 1 print - 12" x 12" - a Foot Print
Price includes frame and high quality acrylic which protects reduces fading from sunlight and minimizes reflection.
