Creating art using a computer as a tool

My goal is to create beautiful art, using a computer as a tool.

Rather than using a series of brushes, I "paint" using a mouse on a computer.

Art is created using vector graphics software called Inkscape.

This is not computer-generated art, nor is it AI assisted.

Full control is maintained over every element from the initial composition to the final piece - no automatic computations are employed.

The computer is used as a tool to help create and replicate lines, curves, shading, colors, etc.

My objective is not to replicate existing art on a computer, but to create exciting and unique art using the computer as a tool.

Vector graphics means every shape or object in the painting is mathematically defined and can be expanded without losing any resolution. 

Modern vector graphics tools provides the ability to insert shading, texture, and transparency to every object.

Printing is done on a special ink jet printer that has been modified to accept many different types of media using ink that will last for decades. 

Very high resolution .jpg and .tif files are available for those who prefer a digital display.

All large prints are monoprints - only one print for each image.

Smaller prints may have 2 prints.

Prints are made using pigment ink for extremely long life.

All framed pieces are protected using a special acrylic that reduces glare and UV light.
